The Data Engineering team at Chope is pivotal in building a solid Data Driven culture and meaningful Data Products which impacts millions of diners and thousands of restaurants. This cannot be a better time to join the organization mainly when we plan to revamp most parts of our Data Platform System. The role brings a great learning curve as you’d be participating in all the activities - interactions with external and internal parties, help to carve out the architecture and do the actual implementation. Not to mention the impact this brings out to the whole organization!

• Help us build our next gen recommendation models
• Work closely with machine learning engineers and data engineers to develop, evaluate and deploy models to production
• Conduct A/B tests to experiment multiple approaches towards improving our core metrics for search & recommendation
• Build data pipelines to automate modelling and transformation from raw data to business recommendations
• Analyze and extract actionable insights from our huge amount of structured and unstructured data streams

Requirements

• Is currently in their final year for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative discipline
• Understand machine learning concepts
• Can demonstrate your previous machine learning projects
• Is familiar with solving problems with data querying using SQL, statistics and modelling in academics, projects, or prior work experience
• Is familiar with Python and a machine learning/deep learning toolkit such as scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch
• Is interested in building recommendation models
• Is familiar with building API and/or Docker is a plus
