Immigration - Sr. Autonomous Vehicle Validation Engineer, Program & Systems Validation Team

Duties: Draw on automotive engineering experience reflecting ADAS system level testing, experience with AB Dynamics tools (GST and Launch Pad), experience with Oxford RT tools and 4Active systems targets, knowledge of automotive industry standards, functional safety standards and robotics, and skills of Matlab, CAN, Vector, CANoe, CANAlyzer, and automotive interfaces (CAN, CANFD, Auto-Ethernet, etc.) to lead efforts related to the design and performance of field testing on driving algorithms for the Company's mechatronic systems and identify potential areas for improvement. Lead & own the design and implementation of the validation strategy for track testing. Lead tasks to develop comprehensive test procedures that fully verify & validate associated requirements, ODD and design documentation. Exercise tests with autonomous vehicles regularly on local test track. Lead tasks to execute validation testing for Autonomous Vehicle involving perception, navigation, and safety functionalities. Coordinate the setup, configuration & maintenance of advanced automotive test equipment for closed-course testing. Use technical writing skills to author detailed test plans, test procedures, test cases & related documents. Work with systems and development teams as a key stakeholder for requirements, issues resolution and design documentation of autonomous vehicles and their advanced systems. Communicate test results to development teams and management & facilitate resolution of technical issues. Requirements: Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering or a closely related technical/engineering field plus 1 year of experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above. Alternatively, the Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience. This position is eligible for employee referral program.
