Nielsen Sports (France) is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst for employment in the Sports Analytics Team. The Sports Analytics Team is composed of Data Analysts from France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, working for clients based in these 3 markets.The ideal ce andidate s an individual who is highly proactive, has experience in a high-volume transaction environment, excellent written and oral communication skills, experience undertaking complex analysis projects, works well in multi-discipline teams. The Data Analyst is a key member of the Sports Analytics Team, interacting with various departments daily.
Being part of Nielsen, you will be able to work with media data (TV, Print, Online, Social) collected through Nielsen panels and large anonymized census data sets from TV providers and digital measurement. In our small team, you have an opportunity to work alongside more experienced data analysts and explore new methodologies and tools.Working at Nielsen Sports means working for the leader in the sports industry, collaborating with all major sports organizations.The Data Analyst will work on projects for our clients based in the Netherlands.
What will I do?
Project Management● Retrieve and analyse media sports data using Excel, and other data management/BIsystems (Power BI, Python)● Communicate daily with Production teams (in Germany and India) to ensure thequality and deadlines● Making sure projects are correctly launched and delivered on time to the accountmanagers in charge of the reporting● Work with account managers to provide data insights and add value on the reporting● Manage multiple project timelines to meet deadlinesAutomation Process● Increase automation of our data processes (via Python, VBA, Power BI etc.)● Increase automation of our reporting (mostly via Power BI)● Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● Master’s degree in relevant areas, or equivalent work experience● Relevant professional experience● Interest in the Sports business and in Sports in general● Excellent Excel skills
● Experience with Python, Experience with BI tools (Power BI)● Strong verbal and written Flemish & English communications skills. French is a plus● Motivated self-starter who is excited to analyse data and identify areas forimprovement● Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills with prior experiencetranslating raw data into practical insights and recommendations● Critical mindset, keen eye for detail● Very strong organizational skills mandatory● Remote work possibleWhat can we offer you as an employee of Nielsen Media
