We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the vision, processes, and architecture for Data Analytics at Copperleaf. This is a growing area of our solution which encompasses data architecture, machine learning, data visualization and paginated reporting.

The value of our products is tied to our clients’ ability to communicate information clearly and efficiently to distinct stakeholders. As a Senior Product Manager, Data Analytics you will be responsible for empowering our clients with delightful, self-service and automated data insights.

You will act as the bridge between groups such as Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, Design, Development & QA, and our clients to ensure the team is focused on the highest value problems and that they are being solved in an elegant and innovative fashion. You will have a critical role in shaping the vision and roadmap of this area of our product over the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume accountability for the Data Analytics product components to ensure they provide exceptional value to our clients and our business
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, always looking for deeper insight. Understand their needs and goals and use these insights to effectively create the best possible value in the offering
  • Define and advocate the product vision, roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Align key stakeholders to turn this vision into reality
  • Define and communicate the business value of client problems and work with the team to set key success metrics
  • Work with the team to ensure the developed product creates user delight and is documented, implementable, and supportable. Ensure marketing and sales use cases are considered
  • Be the first point of contact for client support issues escalated to Development. Provide extraordinary experiences to our clients and stakeholders in all interactions
  • Contribute to the overall product suite strategy and vision, using the insights gathered through your experience

You have the following background:

  • You are an independent self-starter with strong affinity for quantitative data
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Product Manager in a modern product organization
  • Demonstrated success defining, launching, and refining excellent products
  • Experience working in product triads developing products that delight customers and provide exceptional value to the business
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience evangelizing product vision to key stakeholders
  • Experience working with clients to analyze and understand complex business problems
  • Experience managing a complex product and balancing the needs of numerous stakeholders
  • Knowledge of software development practices and ability to understand software tradeoffs, including working in an agile environment
  • Experience working with advanced analytics and machine learning

  • Confidently communicate aspects of the product, and the problem it solves, to people of all levels of technical ability and seniority

  • Be self-motivated, flexible, pragmatic, proactive and be able to handle a variety of tasks
  • Employ excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, respect, courtesy & discretion
  • Be a fast learner, open to new ideas, and able to participate in healthy constructive debates

Compensation Range: 

  • Competitive salary, in the range of $135-$145,000 CAD
