Data Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote role and the successful candidate could be based in the UK, Cyprus, Greece, or Italy. With offices in Manchester, UK, and Cyprus, there is also an option of hybrid working.

Requirements

The Impact you will have

You will join our data team, working with Data Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and Product Analysts to empower data-driven decision-making through tracking on our website. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience working on a mission-critical data platform.

• Design and implement tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA).

• Support for the wider insight consumption needs of the business using a combination of analytics tools.

• Collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Be part of the exploration of data-centric platform technologies and implementation of the technologies that you recommend.

• Propose ideas to advance our tracking infrastructure via GTM and or 3rd party integrations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or equivalent analytics

• Front End tracking (DataLayer)

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Team spirit

• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

• Eager to learn new skills

Good to have:

• Scrum Experience

• JavaScript knowledge

• Experience with cookie consent platforms like OneTrust

• GA4 experience

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS

• SQL knowledge
