The Role/What you’ll do:

• Our team is are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Data Analyst who can help us define our analytics strategy and collect, automate, and visualize data accordingly. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for performing data analysis on various aspects of Riiid Labs’ product areas, including but not limited to acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and revenue.
• Work closely with key internal partners, including AI research, engineering, design, and leadership, to source, automate, and analyze product data
• Collaborate with product team to establish core metrics around product funnels, cohort analyses, user segmentation, retention analyses and regression models to help us grow our products
• Ensure that there is a high level of visibility in how product growth metrics align with revenue targets and business goals
• Derive meaningful insights from collected data to drive systematic improvements in our processes
• Research, assess, and implement software solutions to automate, visualize and analyze across Riiid Labs’ product areas
• Review and ensure data is complete, accurate, and can be clearly communicated to all stakeholders
• Work directly with product and business stakeholders to translate hypotheses into structured analysis
• Cultivate and champion a data-driven culture at Riiid Labs

What you’ll work on:

• Phone/Web Based AI powered tutor applications that support and enhance a student’s education.
• AI SaaS platforms/products supporting educators efforts to enhance education.
• AI API integration projects to assist organizations with optimizing their workforce development, corporate training, and other online learning systems.

What you bring to Riiid Labs:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Math or quantitative fields preferred
• 2+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis in the tech industry
• The ideal candidate will be able to intelligently form hypotheses and test them using methodical, data-driven processes that can be easily communicated across business and product stakeholders.
• A successful candidate in this role has the opportunity to create a foundation of analytical excellence at Riiid Labs and champion a data-driven culture. This role will have visibility and exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional leaders.
• Ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in easy to understand ways
• A strong track record of identifying key business questions, formulating hypotheses, and rigorously testing them with replicable processes
• A solid grasp of common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression)
• Experience with pulling large and complex data, both structured and unstructured 
• Experience with a data visualization and product analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Retool, Amplitude)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Python or R is preferred but not required
