Our success is dependent on building teams that include people from different backgrounds and experiences who can challenge each other’s assumptions with fresh perspectives. To that end, we look for a diverse pool of applicants including those from historically marginalized groups — women, people with disabilities, people of color, people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or gender nonconforming, first and second generation immigrants, veterans, and people from different socioeconomic backgrounds.
The Role
Today, data is everywhere, but those who truly know how to use it effectively will succeed. Outreach believes there are large swaths of value still locked in sales team data and we are putting an effort behind building out the best team to help Outreach and our customers succeed through the use of data.  As our customer base grows, the desire for more insights, better coaching, and improvements in efficiencies outpace the supply. We are expanding the Analytics and Data Platform team to focus on delivering the next generation data warehouse, data lake, and  interaction experience. This will be a critical role that has the chance to expand and flesh out the existing data platform to support big data query and processing needs of feature teams, business intelligence, analytics, and data science. The main responsibility of this data architect is to oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of the core data ingestion from all our product lines to our Lakehouse, the central data processing that includes the transform, normalization, cleansing, load, and data security, the query interface and data consumption of the Lakehouse, and how to support the world-class analytics and reporting.
About the Team
Analytics, data platform and Commit product is a fast-paced dynamic organization with a strong culture of collaboration and a get-things-done attitude. The data architect role would inspire the team to set a new bar for engineering and operational excellence, team culture, business impact and hiring standards. Our customer base is yearning for data insights and this team will have a large impact on revenue, operational costs, and coaching efficiencies.  This team will own multiple functions including API microservices, infrastructure, stream processing, query interfaces, and client libraries (SDKs).
