Data Infra DevOps Engineer

About the Opportunity

The Cloud Platform group is a rapidly growing group, responsible to build and maintain state of the art Infrastructure to support Transmit Security vastly growing SaaS services. 

As we see data to be core to our success, and inherent in every SaaS offering we provide, we are looking to force our Data DevOps engineering skills and grow our expertise in this field with emphasis on open-source tools and self development. 

This role is a combination of hands-on work with technology leadership. 

Responsibilities

• Overall production data system health including performance and availability. 
• Provide architectural solutions for complex data issues
• Building and maintaining high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable distributed data systems 
• Continuance improvement of Operation processes and procedures

Desired Technical skills:

• Hands-on experience with administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, benchmarking and performance tuning of Data technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, BigQuery, Elastic Search
• Experience with open source software technologies

Desired Personal skills:

• Curiosity and a desire to continue learning new processes and technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Desire for constant improvement
