Business Intelligence Data Engineer

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Data Engineer who will be responsible for building and maintaining Tylko Data Pipelines, Integrations, and Warehouse infrastructure.

Data and Insights Team

The Data and Insights Team is all about data. The team provides insights that help guide key decisions in the organization – including shaping strategy, supporting trading (sales and cost optimisation, channel insights, etc.), product stock management optimization, logistics, and customer experience support. By providing data lakes, accessibility and maintaining and developing further dashboards the team is central to the provision of data for monitoring and decision making across the business. The team is also key in providing insights and trends that guide actions that lead to opportunities to further optimize our products, services, and business.

Tasks:

• You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a business-facing data warehouse (Big Query) that will support our company's commitment to analytics, as well as our data-driven business philosophy.

• You’ll be constructing ETL data pipelines (Google Cloud Functions, DBT, Data Transfers, Python, even a little R)

• You'll create and monitor daily ETL tasks and data sync processes for cleaning and structuring data for many different sources - marketing APIs (tools and ad systems), Data Transfers, internal backend exports

• You'll connect data sources (e.g. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Braze, Insider, Facebook- and Google Adwords-APIs) with our data warehouse.

• You'll design and build healthy, scalable architecture for real-time and batch data processing.

• You'll proactively come up with suggestions on how the team can leverage new technologies and architectures to improve the data platform and implement new methodologies to improve the team performance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role

• Knowledge and experience in working with Google Stack Tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics/GA4, Google Firebase, Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub),

• Experience in Python and SQL

• Excellent judgment, curiosity, confidence, and a sense of humor.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of DBT (or you will learn here)

• Google Tag Manager experience (also with serverside) + javascript

• Experience with GIT
