Senior Data Scientist

Clearco is a company built by founders for founders, and we're laser-focused on our mission to help entrepreneurs succeed. In order for us to succeed in this endeavor, we are looking to add a Senior Data Scientist to the data science team, who will be integral in helping us improve our existing product offering as well as develop new initiatives based on a large variety of data sources.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Working on the Data Science team to help unlock growth capital for founders
• Designing and executing sound and reproducible data science experiments
• Conduct data mining for the purpose of uncovering insights and improving data acquisition
• Leveraging software processes to render the results of data science experiments widely available
• Utilizing Machine Learning to:
• Create and improve models deployed for production at ClearCo
• Perform descriptive as well as predictive investigation
• Build personalization frameworks tied to investments for our founders 

You will thrive if you:

• Are a Data Scientist with a strong background in software engineering
• Possess an expert grasp of statistics, including the notions of variance and significance
• Have 3-4 years of experience working in a production data science environment
• Have 4+ years of experience working with Python 
• Hands-on Machine Learning experience 
• Your previous ML work includes significant experience with time series forecasting, recommendation and personalization engines, and/or binary classification models
• Have 2+ years of experience working with SQL including some experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB & Data Lakes)
• Possess great communication skills and an ability to understand business impact needs
• Have experience working in a startup environment (highly preferred)
• Possess a bias for action and to ship to production iteratively
