Job Description:

You will be part of a Data Science / Machine Learning development team which has the main focus on developing microservices that use the latest data science approaches to improve different aspects of our business. 

Main responsibilities:

• Implement and use different data science algorithms. Developing code for gathering and using big data from different data sources in the cloud to train Machine Learning models. Use these models in a production environment;
• Understand data, analyze it and extract insights that can be used in algorithms and optimisations 
• Create scalable microservices that use these algorithms in our production pipeline;
• Integrate microservices in a production environment;  

Your responsibilities will include programming, documenting, testing, debugging, and participating in agile development activities to include sprint planning, working in a team environment, actively participating in standups, and other agile ceremonies.

Required Skills:

• 1+ years of Python coding and development experience;
• Knowledge of Big Data EDA (cleaning, reporting and visualization)
• Some familiarity with ML frameworks as Scikit-Learn, MLFlow, XGBoost, LightGBM, Spacy, CatBoost, fast.ai, HuggingFace
• Experience working with Spark / Hadoop / Databricks
• Prior experience on Docker containers
• Knowledge of the Python web frameworks like Falcon, Flask, or Django and associated protocols: HTTP REST, gRPC, protobuf;
• Familiarity with deep learning and/or machine learning algorithms and methodologies is a plus

Nice to have: 

• 2+ years experience in using AWS
• .NET Core experience
