Summary:
The Marketing team at Age of Learning is looking for a highly skilled, technologically-oriented, and innovative data mind. This role is a hybrid of data analytics and business insights. This position will be responsible for, auditing reports for data integrity, and providing high level statistical analysis using machine learning, regression models, and predictive analytics. Their end goal will be to support the digital marketing team in meeting their objectives, provide account managers with the tools they need to help optimize their channels, and come up with creative solutions to assess the efficacy of brand campaigns. 

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively perform data exploration to discover future testing opportunities by channel, product mix, customer segment
  • Apply new technology and statistical analysis to create accurate models of prediction, analysis, and diagnosis for media campaigns
  • Ingest and clean data to help identify correlation between numerous marketing variables to help guide marketing strategy
  • Create analytical reports and intuitive tools to help account managers optimize toward their KPI’s and diagnose problems
  • Create and maintain an organizational structure for new data that’s intuitive to other analysts and can be scaled 
  • Projects (can include but not excluded to):
  • Expand upon 3rd party dashboards to create comprehensive toolsets for Search and Affiliate User Acquisition Managers to identify areas of campaign optimization and insights into new opportunities, utilizing tools like Tableau, and Snowflake Data warehousing
  • Utilize R and statistical methods to identify cross-channel correlations that give the team insight into the inter-relational effects of campaigns across multiple networks, including the efficacy of non-directly attributable brand campaigns such as TV and Influencers
  • Utilizing skillsets with Python and HTML to scrape external data to create an exhaustive view on external effects on our campaigns, such as the effects of regional school schedules or quarantine regulations on the team’s ad buying efforts
  • Create realistic forecasting model based on these external trends to aid with campaign optimization
  • Needs to have the ability to visualizing the findings in all the above investigations and present it in executive level meetings

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years professional experience analyzing media data.
  • Experience with working with user acquisition managers
  • Experience with working Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Bing, Apple, and other industry standard digital ad buying companies
  • Experience with Affiliate building companies such as Commission Junction or well-known affiliate network is a plus
  • Experience working with PPC, CPC, CPA, CPM and other bid-optimization campaigns across platforms
  • Experience working with large company data sets, and using SQL and/or Tableau to cross join multiple tables in order to solve complex questions
  • In depth knowledge of data software such as Snowflake SQL, Tableau and Excel – Preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in Python, R, Statistical Modeling - preferred
  • Media agency experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of or experience using one or more of the following would be beneficial:
  • Tag management
  • Multi-channel attribution analyses
  • Web Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, etc)
  • Programmatic (Criteo, Sizemek, etc.)
  • Proven analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
