Summary:
The Marketing team at Age of Learning is looking for technologically-oriented, and innovative data mind. An ideal candidate will have competency with data structures, analytics, and a results-driven mindset. Under general supervision, this position will assist in using data to identify campaign optimization opportunities, maintaining a cohesive data reporting process, and help support the marketing analytics team in their day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, perform data exploration to discover optimization and future testing opportunities by channel, product mix, customer segment
  • Help compile reports for presenting to team members and management
  • Aid in the ingestion, auditing, and analysis of data generated by the digital marketing team
  • Assist in creating tools, dashboards, and data visualizations to help user acquisition managers analyze and optimize their campaigns
  • Help keep reports refreshed and updated, export and upload new data as it comes in
  • Under general supervision, fix data inaccuracies and technical glitches in reporting
  • Learning new technologies, querying techniques, and data analysis methods
  • Job shadowing in functional areas
  • Intern Projects
  • Create new user acquisition dashboard with key insights to help optimize digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilize R and statistical methods to identify cross-channel correlations that give the team insight into the inter-relational effects of campaigns across multiple networks, including the efficacy of non-directly attributable brand marketing campaigns
  • Optimize a data collection or analysis process so that it performs more comprehensively, efficiently, and/or accurately
  • Compile a marketing analytics report on a key investigation exploring a hypothesis or a campaign test to be presented to upper management or executive level meeting

Targeted Skillsets / Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel and the Microsoft Suite (ie. PowerPoint)
  • Some experience with statistics, data modeling, working with large data sets
  • Some experience with at least one of the following: SQL, Python, R
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills 
  • Proactive and intuitive work ethic
  • Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
  • Above average critical thinking skills with the ability to see big picture impacts
  • Recently completed or working toward a degree in data analytics, data science, business analytics
  • Experience working with a marketing team or on marketing projects preferred
  • Attention to detail is a must
