BIG Data, Platform & CVM Services Lead Engineer - DBA

Job Responsibility: ·         Install, configure and maintain databases with database administration skill set for different RDBMS like ORACLE, MySQL, SQL Server and explore more DB technologies as per the requirement from time to time.·         Assess and develop long-term strategic goals for the production database in conjunction with application owners and department managers. ·         Monitor and perform daily health checkups of DB performance to meet SLA and KPI.·         Prepare a schedule for purchase and make sure the budget is implemented and in line with the business plan and assist in analyzing capacity forecast for budget preparation.·         Evaluate the impact of applications on business continuity and assist in planning, designing, and implementing business continuity & Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.·         Troubleshoot and resolve incidents whenever occur (24/7)
Required Academic Qualifications·        B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant field from any UGC approved University Required Experience:·         3-7 years of experience in a DBA or DB maintenance role
Required Knowledge & Skills ·         Database installation, maintenance and performance tuning (Oracle, SQL server, MySQL)·         Sound knowledge on DB backup, restoration, securities, upgradation, migration, patching etc.·         Knowledge on database high availability solution (Clustering, replication, data guard etc.)·         Basic knowledge on Unix, Network and shell scripting will be a plus.·         Training/certification (OCP) on Database administration will be a plus.·         Strong communication skillIf you are interested to pursue a career with us and you have the required experience & skills, please apply with an updated CV on or before May 16, 2022.
