Barbaricum is seeking a capable Data Integrator to provide support to a Department of Defense customer. This individual will engage with Data Scientists, Knowledge Managers and application users to perform data integration and application troubleshooting and configuration to support and improve workflows and analysis for a leading operational DoD component. The Data Integrator will serve as a data explorer and a first line of defense to recognize and articulate both data and application deficiencies and how to resolve them, along with identifying and helping develop future feature requests.  This position requires familiarity with Python and GitHub. Individuals with a military background - specifically with exposure to Army Intelligence functions and tradecraft - will be particularly well-suited for this role.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required
• Military background strongly preferred (Army Intelligence in particular)
• Familiarity with developing in Python is required
• Demonstrated experience working in GitHub
• Exposure to and familiarity developing in Java is desired
• Experience with Pandas, PySpark, Hadoop and Typescript is desired
• Ability to engage with military personnel on a regular basis
• Familiarity with Palantir's Foundry and/or Gotham tools may be helpful but is not required
