Data Engineer - Games

Job Description:

• Participate in the construction of Shopee's enterprise-level Games and CRM business data warehouse.
• Continuously improve the quality and services of the data warehouse based on the requirements of accuracy, timeliness and stability.
• Participate in the data-based operations of the e-commerce business, building multiple data and product services to support business development and decision-making.
• Work on tasks such as but not limited to: design and development of real-time /offline data warehouses, enterprise level big data architecture, data integration, data governance, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering and other related technical fields.
• Hiring acoss junior/senior candidates with no experience are welcomed.
• Familiar with one or more big data processing technologies, such as Spark, Flink, HBase, Kafka, Druid, Clickhouse etc.

• Experience in SQL (Spark and Presto) is a must.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java,Scala, Python etc.
• Proficient or familiar with data warehouse architecture and principles, with relevant experiences in big data architecture design, model design and performance tuning.
• Practical experience in real-time data warehouse architecture (Lambda/Kappa architecture), real-time data processing and real-time data warehouse is preferred.
• Preferably have past experiences in an Internet company, with practical experiences in enterprise data warehouse design and implementation.
• Good logical thinking and communication skills, as well as good project management and coordination skills.
