POSITION SUMMARY

EWA Government Systems, Inc. is seeking an AI Intern to work within the AI department on a project to produce a portable standalone signals intelligence platform. Lines of effort include math and theory, signal processing, hardware design, hardware construction, software, documentation, software engineering, cyber defense, security/privacy, and productionizing. You are encouraged to pick one or two of the listed responsibilities below to focus on. At onboarding, a work plan will be devised to establish milestones and goals for you to work on and ensure that work done, lines up with study areas to ensure you develop applied proficiency in your focus area.

RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):

• Explore math and theory connecting signals and machine learning.
• Refactor existing code to meet a higher level of code quality.
• Design and develop authentication mechanisms robust to analysis.
• Design and execute experiments to statistically assess algorithm power.
• Draft design and fabrication documents ready for line production.
• Integrate additional components such as GPS dongles.
• Design enclosure to meet weatherproof and shock proofing standards.
• Design and develop software build chain.
• Design and document long-term plan of action and milestones.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with your chosen area-specific tools and theory.
