About our Care Delivery team and role
We are a small, high-impact team that not only owns the cloud infrastructure and applications that support our medical imaging business, but also builds products to help our customers improve the quality of care they provide.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building and owning data solutions that direct and drive decisions across the engineering, product, and research organizations. You will gain a deep understanding of healthcare data systems and the data they produce, and become an expert in how to transform that data into a format that is useful for business analytics and clinical care.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product and functional teams to understand requirements regarding ETL/ELT design flows, data integration, data models, and data storage.
- Deliver high-quality work. Be accountable. You will be able to build and own parts of the data systems that impact business decisions across the company.
- Ensure industry best practices are followed for data pipelines, metadata management, data quality, data governance and data privacy.
- Help map out and execute on the longer term technical vision of our data systems to scale with our business.
Qualifications:
- Mission-driven and passionate about improving healthcare outcomes
- 2+ years of professional data engineering experience
- Detail and execution-oriented, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with data/modeling tools, modeling techniques a plus
- Experience working with healthcare data (EMR, claims, etc) is a strong plus
- Experience with designing and building data warehouses a strong plus
- BS in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience.
