As an ETL Developer at Zopa you will be working in a small, agile team to facilitate, support and enhance data feeds between core banking subsystems, financial reconciliation and audit systems.
You can expect to interact with stakeholders and key business users daily, so the ideal candidate will have the perfect blend of technical aptitude and communication skills.
We are big believers in a lean philosophy and flexibility in implementation, while aiming to achieve full automation, resilience and stack consistency and alignment across the board. 

You will have

• Excellent understanding of MS SQL Server T-SQL with a strong focus on automation through parametrization and resilience by design
• Deep knowledge of SSIS
• Understanding of basic principles and differences between OLTP and OLAP database systems
• Experience in automated testing in a SQL environment
• Good understanding of GDPR and how it applies to ETL systems and processes
• Have good understanding of core AWS services and basic AWS architecture best practises

Bonus points for:

• Hands on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, DMS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS etc.
• Experience with other programming languages such as Python or C#
