Based on the evolving situation with Covid–19 we are mostly remote, this includes the hiring process. We are in the process of moving to a hybrid of onsite and remote with some positions remaining 100% remote.
Why This Role Is Important To Arcadia
Join the product development team of a high growth Population Health and Analytics software company. Reporting to Sr Product Manager (Quality and Analytics) and joining a talented team of Product experts, you will assist the Quality team in the successful development and delivery of accurate clinical quality measures to further enable industry excellence and high client satisfaction and trust.
This position requires a deep understanding of quality measures across many healthcare data stewards, an understanding of how measures are developed, and familiarity with measure specifications. Additionally, some grasp of clinical knowledge as clinical concepts relate to measures will be important. This position will enable you to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in US healthcare at the leading healthcare systems across the country. You are expected to continually position Arcadia as an industry leader in the healthcare quality measure space.
You will be responsible to write measures and communicate to internal teams how measures may deviate and any limitations in the measure code.   
What Success Looks LikeIn 3 months- Learn the design and capabilities of Arcadia’s measure calculation engine- Build relationships across departments as thought leader in quality measurement- Develop clinical measures scripts under guidance of senior measure writers
In 6 months- Getting independent in developing low to medium complexity quality measures; being able to source specifications/requirements as well as develop, deploy and validate measure scripts- Investigate issues and answers questions/concerns reported to the team by internal implementation teams as well as clients- Participate in measure certification process with national stewards (NCQA, CMS, etc.) - Develop comprehensive knowledge of existing measure inventory
In 12 months- Accurate and independent development of high complexity quality measure within the measure engine- Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end measure calculation and data flow process - Independently manage new release process and documentation- Develop complex procedures and functions used by the measure scripts

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining knowledge of industry quality measures (HEDIS, eCQM, UDS, etc.) as well as understanding how clinical data may impact quality measures.
  • Developing measures accurately and to the specification. Communicating to internal teams if measures may deviate and any limitations in the measure code. 
  • Becoming an expert in quality measure specifications and understanding; Working directly across the Arcadia organization to answer any questions on specifications or measure logic.
  • Demonstrating high standards for accuracy and attention to detail; Demonstrating strong self-organizational and time management skills to concurrently manage multiple accounts, adjusting as needed to shifting timelines and priorities.
  • Identifying and elevating key obstacles for intervention that may jeopardize timelines.
  • Subject matter expert on measure logic and specification interpretations.
  • Communicating with measure stewards as necessary to support measure development and maintaining certifications (i.e. NCQA, CMS, etc.)

What You'll Bring

  • Advanced SQL skills and thorough understanding of specification concepts
  • 3 or more years of experience required in health care quality data analysis in either a health plan setting or health system that includes either measure development or working directly with measure reporting and or validation. 
  • Strong grasp of population health management concepts
  • Ensure maximum level of data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and completeness in all measure development

Would Love For You To Have

  • 3+ years of NCQA HEDIS, eCQM, clinical quality, or healthcare quality improvement experience

This position is responsible for following all Security policies and procedures in order to protect all PHI under Arcadia's custodianship as well as Arcadia Intellectual Properties.  For any security-specific roles, the responsibilities would be further defined by the hiring manager.
