What You'll Do

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the BI systems are meeting the informational needs of the business users. Certifies that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision making capabilities. Acts as lead analyst in guaranteeing the BI systems and solutions are operational, functioning as designed, and support the current set of corporate standard reports and dashboards. Identifies, researches, and resolves operational technical issues in conjunction with peer business applications and IT teams. Develops reports/dashboards to meet the ongoing business requirements and information requests.

• Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards or other analytic tools
• Develop reports/dashboards using standard corporate tools
• Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems or methods
• Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users – manage the operations of ETL jobs and processes
• Maintain library of data model documents, templates, corporate standard reports or other reusable knowledge assets
• Generate and maintain corporate standards for data definitions, reports and dashboards
• Generate and maintain corporate data dictionary of data structures, ETL jobs and standard reports and dashboards
• Identify and analyze industry trends with business strategy implications
• Work with business users to understand requirements and translate these into BI reporting solutions
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Practical experience in business intelligence solutions (Domo, Tableau, Qlik, BIRST, Oracle BI, SAS, etc…)
• Experience with RDBMS – prefer Snowflake
• Basic understanding of relational database structures including SQL
• Experience with developing and supporting reporting and data analytic solutions – prefer Domo
• Self-motivated and driven to get results
• Ability to learn new technologies and tools in the business intelligence field
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
• Ability to communicate well with users and convey business requirements
• BS degree in information technology or similar field related to business intelligence
