Job Summary

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for aggregating data from multiple data sources and designing, building, and supporting enterprise level BI and analytics solutions that will enable business users to make informed business decisions. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design and develop reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries against Lucet's data warehouse and operational systems. In addition, the role will collaborate with the larger Reporting and Analytics and Data Engineering teams to provide advice and requirements for data modeling, predictive analytics, data visualization, and data governance.

Essential Functions

  • Performing analysis of data sources, business processes and data mining to understand the nuances, integrity, completeness, and accuracy of the data.
  • Utilizing tools such as SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Tableau to architect business intelligence and reporting solutions.
  • Consulting with all levels of users to help them solve problems regarding the use and management of data as well as work on design, maintenance, and completion of highly visible organizational projects.
  • Designing and implementing best-practice BI solutions and reports that will support business decisions.
  • Work with engineering team in co-creation and maintenance of modern Data Repositories that support BI solutions
  • Creation and maintenance of data domain specific documentation including reporting requirements and data maps.
  • Manage multiple tasks/projects to timely completion, be detail oriented, be responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking.
  • Establishes and maintains cooperative and supportive relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Adheres to Lucet Mission Statement, Core Values, Code of Business Conduct and Compliance Program
  • Complies with all Federal and applicable State laws and Lucet policies regarding privacy, confidentiality and security of health information and other designated information

Job Qualifications

Required

  • BS/BA degree plus with demonstrated experience in BI, with experience in Healthcare Industry strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Experience with SSAS is a plus.
  • Proficiency in analytic tools such as SQL,SAS,R or Python
  • Strong experience with Tableau and familiarity with other data visualization tools
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems and data modeling (relational and dimensional)
  • Experience in data warehousing, particularly within the healthcare industry
  • Experience building scalable BI applications
  • Experience working with end-users and translating their business needs into technical solutions
  • Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office products.
  • Good working knowledge of gathering requirements and agile processes.
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving aptitude
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed indoors in a typical home office environment- not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
  • Frequent exposure to VDT screen
  • Physical demands include constant ability to remain in a stationary position, move about inside an office or remote setting, able to communicate and exchange information with others, able to inspect information, and able to perform repetitive motion with arms and fingers.
  • Mental demands include constant ability to interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, and organize and plan.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The starting salary that Lucet reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $90,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills, education/degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of Lucet's incentive plan based on both company performance and individual performance.
