About Data Science Team

Our team is comprised of Ph.D. data scientists from top universities with extensive experience from Silicon Valley and major technology companies. We have diverse backgrounds, from Deep Learning, graph computing, computer vision to DNA sequencing, power network optimization, math, economics, and game theory. We aim to understand the economies like never before: in real-time, in totality, and at the individual level. We have fun analyzing trillions of records, traversing billions of social relationships, and keeping our fingers on the pulse of the entire economy. We are building AI that will replace us in doing these fun things so that we can move on to the next.

Responsibilities

• ML System Operation:
• Integrate ML models and ensure consistency in model interfaces and interaction as per product requirements.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, and resource consumption.
• Manage development servers and environments.
• Communicate with product team, infrastructure team, engineering team, and data science team to ensure consistency in requirement, development, integration, and deployment.
• Optimize and deploy "tiny" ML solution on limited computation power devices such as mobile devices and web platforms.
• ML Model Development
• Build eKYC components (face recognition, OCR, object detection), using state-of-the-art methods
• Develop ML models and provide solutions for acquisition, verification, validation, and fraud detection of user data

Skills and Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
• Great communication skills
• Desired engineering skills: 
• Must be proficient in software design and software development.
• Must be proficient in Python, scripting language. Experience with other programming languages (C++, Java, Javascript ...) is a plus
• Must be proficient in Linux system, version control system (Git), virtualization and SW packaging tool (docker). 
• Experience with working with databases and query language is a plus.
• Familiar with MLOPs concept and toolkit is a plus
• Desired machine learning skills:
• Experience with ML framework: Tensorflow, Pytorch, Mxnet, ONNX…
• Experience with managing data science and computer vision toolkits, such as JupyterHub, CVAT, OpenCV...
• Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
