Machine Learning Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced candidate to serve as a lead data scientist. Candidates must be able to lead large-scale efforts independently and also mentor and supervise team members.

Due to client requirements, applicants MUST BE US Citizens or Permanent Residents and be able to pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of data scientists, data engineers, designers, and analysts
• Lead scalable implementation of machine learning models
• Interpret and analyze data problems
• Build cloud-native machine learning systems and implement predictive models
• Leverage MLOps best practices to continuously deliver robust solutions
• Visualize data
• Experiment with new models and techniques
• Stay up to date on the latest industry developments in support of business initiatives

Requirements

• Experience with cloud architecture, specifically AWS, as it relates to data processing & analysis (i.e., EC2, S3, Redshift, SageMaker etc.)
• Proven expertise in leveraging machine learning to solve business problems (e.g. research publications, open-source projects, commercial efforts, etc)
• Experience with cloud based ML solution deployment architectures
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent Python & SQL skills
• Experience with Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit-learn
• Experience with at least one Deep Learning library such as Tensorflow or PyTorch
• BA/BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, data science, engineering, statistics, or other related fields
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience working with Machine Learning
