- Interact. Work with Deepwatch’s internal stakeholders to define business and functional requirements and deliver robust, scalable, operable solutions.
- Problem Solve. Run a tight, lean, and efficient operation, breaking down roadblocks, and measuring success along the way. Leverage metrics, monitoring and alarming to measure and improve the operational processes and performance of the team.
- Lead: Enjoy being a people manager that builds, motivates and mentors data engineers and architects. You should have a proven track record in recruiting and retaining top talent, with strong day-to-day people and performance management tasks.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:

- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
- Experience with multi-instance or multi-tenant architectures
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Ability to engage with other internal communities on issues of data security, safety, and privacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to relay complex concepts effectively to internal executive stakeholders
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple stakeholders distributed across product, engineering and science teams.
