We are seeking an innovative Data Analytics professional to help develop the Data Analytics practice for the Anaplan Infrastructure Engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about digging into data to uncover valuable insights, solve sophisticated problems, and drive efficient decision-making to improve business performance. This person is comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.

Your Impact

  • Manipulate and analyze large and complex data sets to distill insights from data; connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded recommendations using creative and analytical thinking
  • Apply expertise in data mining and modeling leveraging multiple data sources to uncover unique insights, identify key performance drivers, and build predictive models
  • Collaborate with partners to develop performance indicators and reporting solutions that measure key inputs, outputs, and productivity of business operations
  • Prepare concise, compelling written communications to present findings and recommendations to internal partners and document methods for transparency and continuity
  • Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve the operational performance.
  • Design, develop and automate dashboards and analytics for stakeholders at scale.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, etc.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data science, or similar field
  • Proven analytical skills to work through complex problems, manipulate and analyze large data sets, and produce actionable business insights
  • Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data using SQL, with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel for ad hoc data analysis, modeling, and visualization
  • Proficiency in statistical concepts and methods (e.g., linear regression, logistic regression, basic time series); ability to identify opportunities for more sophisticated modeling methods
  • Experience using analytical tools using Splunk for understanding real time data trend
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate ambiguous business questions into robust analysis and communicate results to business and finance stakeholders
