Opportunity Overview 

The Autonomous Truck Administrator assists in the administration and coordination of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. This role maintains schedules and ensures adherence to fleet upkeep per DOT requirements. The administrator supports the process of new purchases and transfers in the fleet as needed. This position addresses and resolves any challenges or issues with the fleet.

Role Responsibilities

• Support R&D Techs by scheduling their work, gathering all components for work, and updating Jira tickets + stakeholders
• Support Maintenance by helping schedule all third party work. Make sure invoices are submitted to accounting and compliance paperwork is submitted to compliance.
• Track third party spending
• Input requests to purchasing for components
• Act as a point of contact for vendors, other departments, etc who need R&D and maintenance support
• Schedules regular maintenance on all vehicles.
• Orders urgent or emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintains accurate records of vehicles and supports manager with compliance requirements.
• Confirm fleet is compliant with all DOT regulations and any state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and coordinate routine detailing for all vehicles.
• Complete/Support monthly inspections on TuSimple vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and cleaning.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure DMV records are maintained and current.

Experience & Skills Required

• Courses in a technical school with a focus on mechanical field, logistics, or business preferred.
• Prior knowledge of D.O.T. policies and procedures preferred.
• Previous experience working with fleet transportation preferred.
• Ability to capture processes and create checklist/implement ideas to improve process.
• Ability to follow direction and escalate issues when needed.
• Computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
