The Role:As a Data Engineer/Developer in the Data Engineering team you will join a team of brilliant, friendly and energetic solutions architects, developers, QA engineers and project managers who strive to deliver best of breed custom solutions to our customers. Your Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and supporting a platform consumed by millions of users where performance is the key, collaborate with solution architects, business, QA and projects manages.
  • Create documentation, reports, and dashboards to support the effective management and operation of the platform.
  • Create and maintain Data pipelines and Data Ingestion using different sources of data.
  • Application support/bug fixes.
  • Collaborate with developers and operations teams to build and deploy custom solutions in using T-SQL and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with Data Modelling & Mapping knowledge along with experience in XML & JSON document formats, strong in T-SQL, ETL & Data Processing using SSIS.
  • Must have at 3-5 years of hands-on development within a similar role working as a member of one or more agile teams and SCRUM methodology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with data bases, including relational and non-relational, design and create tables, views, triggers, partitions, complex stored procedures, functions, indexes and other database objects. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS also software design, data structures and algorithms. Must be familiar with database design, scalability, and performance.
  • Good understanding of AWS S3 and EC2 Windows operating systems and networking.
  • C# and or Python Experience is a plus!
