Your New Gig 💼

BANXA thrives on innovation. We're always looking for professionals with the can-do attitude to help our business work smarter and more efficiently. As the global BANXA business continues to grow, we’re looking to grow our Data Analytics function. Working within a collaborative team, you will partner with various business units to help develop data products and tools to enhance Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analytics functions. This newly created role will give you the opportunity to grow as quickly as our business is growing (which is very fast!) This is a fantastic opportunity to bring skills, experience and innovation to make this role your own!

What You'll Do 👀

• Design and develop data pipelines, data integration and orchestration architecture
• Design and build a data warehouse with efficiency and reliability to meet business data needs. 
• Working with various business units to ensure their data is integrated to the data warehouse in an automated manner
• Working with external vendors such as crypto exchanges, financial systems and analytics platforms to connect their data feeds into our internal data
• Ensure that all of this can scale as the business grows both in transaction volume and product offerings
• Working with Data Analysts to help them satisfy their requirements and assist in selection of a new analytics syste

You should apply if ✅

• Experience as a Data Engineer/Developer 
• Experience configuring and managing databases, data lakes and data warehousing (including Redshift, MySQL/MariaDB, S3)
• Proven experience of building and maintaining ETL data pipeline and handling raw data, structured or unstructured
• Proven experience of Python/R/JavaScript or similar scripting language preferred 
• Proven working knowledge and experience of AWS and its tools is advantageous
