About the role:
BrowserStack is looking for a Lead, Data Analytics. This role will report to the Manager, FP&A. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the analysis and reporting of business performance. You will transform data into actionable business information and will make it readily accessible to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of right industry-benchmarked SaaS metrics for performance management and generate key insights on an ongoing basis
- Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement
- Draw inferences and conclusions, create dashboards and visualisations of processed data, identify trends & anomalies
- Provide unique ways to present data and information in an easy to consume format
- Interface with cross-functional teams to gather information, review KPIs and track performance
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly investor dashboards to communicate the performance of the company
- Prepare monthly/ periodic reports for internal stakeholder discussions
Requirements
- Total experience of 5+ years; relevant experience of 3-5 years working in data/ BI space
- MBA or BTech from a top school with strong academic credentials
- Prior experience working with SQL
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience with data visualization using Looker, Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Excellent presentation and data synthesis skills with attention to detail and the ability to quickly absorb and interpret large datasets
- A proven ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and often in ambiguous environments, and deliver under tight deadlines
- A successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically.
- Understanding of the technology landscape, preferably B2B SaaS, is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to manage multi-stakeholder relations
