About the Job

Airbase is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our newly-formed Business Systems & Analytics team. The team has the mandate to bring our critical business tools, process, and data together to enable Airbase to continue honing its culture into one driven by data to invest and scale effectively. You will have the opportunity to lay a new foundational data platform, influence our tools & processes, and shape key internal analytics reporting. You will regularly work with a diverse set of stakeholders throughout the organisation.  About Your Role

• Establish and nurture relationships with internal customers to understand their needs, understand core Airbase product fundamentals, and translate those into actionable analytics and insights
• Partner with internal business teams (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success) and technical teams (Product, Engineering) to ensure relevant data is centralised in the data warehouse, modelled for performant analytics, and meets high-quality standards.
• Empower your stakeholders by building self-serve dashboards in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Metabase
• Maintain our internal data warehouse infrastructure, including data extraction, data transformation, and data presentation layers
• Work with the Product and Engineering teams to understand the Airbase product roadmap and identify and implement any related data platform improvements or enhancements.
• Analyse essential product and business metrics to extract meaningful insights and make recommendations to GTM and Product teams
• Prepare analysis with observations and insights supporting a clear point of view,  contextualised and shaped into clear storylines.
• Use data to test the validity of a hypothesis and create methodologies to extract insights from various data sets.

About You

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science, statistics, or mathematics
• Experience partnering with different go-to-market and product teams such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Product etc.
• Solid understanding of B2B, PLG and SaaS sales motions and product development
• You thrive in an iterative environment and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working with business intelligence tools like Metadata, Tableau, Looker
• Quick learner with the ability to solve problems independently

• Bonus: Knowledge of ETL tools and data engineering
