Sisense Admin / Data Engineer

Key Accountabilities:

• Install, configure, monitor and upgrade SiSense clusters and server(s). 
• Monitor and maintain the performance of the server(s). 
• Administer security and authorization to SiSense
• Analysis and assistance with resolving security issues
• Create and implement backup and retention policies.
• Deploy new content implementing the SDLC standards. 
• Respond to applications issues and work with the application team for the resolution.
• Create architecture and related services documentation.
• Identify possible improvements in the development process and collaborate on the implementation.
• Automation of SiSense operations when appropriate.
• Model and dashboard development as a secondary objective.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in IT. 
• 2+ years working knowledge of SiSense products.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Relational databases.
• Experience with optimizing Linux based systems performance.
• Experience with project and source code management tools (e.g. Atlassian toolset Jira, Confluence, bitbucket)
• Willingness to learn and attend classes on Linux, Kubernetes and SiSense.
• Experience with Agile development process.
• Application clustering / load balancing concepts and technologies experience is preferred
• Experience with NOSQL databases (e.g MonetDB) is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Network architecture is preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem (e.g. Rancher, Grafana, Docker, etc.) is preferred.
