This position offers tremendous opportunities to work with the state of the art technology that will change the way sport is consumed in the future. Our systems are highly complex and contain petabytes of data and video requiring extremely talented engineers to maintain the scale and efficiency of its products. You will work in a cross-functional team which is developing innovative computer vision systems. Are you ready for this new challenge?

As a member of Computer Vision Team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of revolutionary Computer Vision and AI solutions.

Some of the ongoing projects you will be involved are:

  • Design AI solutions for Computer Vision based Products in Sports for teams and leagues all over the world
  • Use your expertise in Computer Vision and Deep Learning to tackle exciting real-world Sports data collection and production problems

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Research, design, implementation and optimization of state of the art CV/ML algorithms for our existing and upcoming products;
  • Implement computer vision techniques for object classification, labelling, and prediction;
  • Share knowledge within the team located across two or more locations;
  • You will be working with a growing team of talented data scientists already dedicated to this mission;
  • Support our future computer vision and machine learning initiatives.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Vision, Computer Science or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience with machine learning; including hands on experience with deep learning and its applications to computer vision (e.g., object detection, tracking, segmentation, image classification, 3D reconstruction, image and video processing, graphics rendering, etc.)
  • Solid programming skills with Python
  • Comfortable with common data science toolkits (Python, R)
  • Must be comfortable with modern software development methodologies such as agile development, git, code review, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Autonomous and rigorous, and a team player, with a positive mindset
  • Be creative and innovation focused

BONUS SUPERPOWERS:

  • PhD or Masters in Computer Vision, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with setting up production deployment pipeline for CV/ML models;
  • Experience with C++, Spark and GPU programming
  • Experience in AWS environment
  • 1+ year experience in developing or using deep learning frameworks (eg, Tensorflow, caffe, PyTorch, Keras)
