Principal Engineer, Cloud Networking AI/ML

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, other relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 15 years of experience in networking, systems design, distributed systems, and cloud computing.
  
• Experience with engineering approaches, customer implementation patterns, and the commercial ecosystem.
• Experience in Generative AI and traditional AI/ML.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Engineering.
  
• Ability to collaborate and influence across a large team.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $278,000-$399,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Ensure that Google Cloud customers can use Google AI to design, deploy, and operate networking in GCP, other cloud platforms, and on-premise. 
  
• Work across the entire Google Cloud Networking organization to deliver that alignment and drive the execution of organization-wide programs.  
  
• Work closely with other GCP organizations, including Compute and Storage.
