Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience selling analytics, data warehousing, or data management software.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data analytics technology stack (e.g., business intelligence, predictive analytics, Hadoop/Spark data lakes, columnar data warehouses, data streaming, ETL, and data governance).
  • Experience with market leading Business Intelligence (BI) front-end, data analytics middleware, or back-end data warehouse technologies.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Data and Analytics offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, etc.).
  • Ability to plan, pitch, and execute a start-to-finish sales and customer transformation strategy aligned to Data and Analytics.

As a Sales Specialist within Cloud Data Analytics, you will lead go-to-market strategies and business plays, manage campaigns, and provide feedback to Product and Global Solutions teams to inform our product solutions roadmap. You will be an advisor to C-level customers and their executives to help shape their cloud and data analytics strategy and enable digital transformation. You will focus on helping customers improve their productivity and harness the power of our products to make their organizations more productive, collaborative, and available to their customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000-$165,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Calibrate the business against goals, and accurately forecast and report the state of the business for your territory.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert, influence long-term strategic direction for your new and existing customers as well as the Google Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and Customer Engineers (CEs).
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across key verticals. 
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud Data and Analytics solutions. Articulate key solution differentiators and the measurable business impact.
  • Work with Google Account and technical teams to develop and drive pipelines, and provide expertise.
