About the Job

Synthesis AI is looking for an ML Developer to join our ML team. You will be running and developing cutting edge ML models for CV and domain adaptation. You will work closely with the computer graphics and software engineering teams to solve some of the most complex challenges in computer vision by developing photorealistic simulations of the real world and using them to create state-of-the-art DNN models.

The impact you will have:

  • Help us implement and tune CV and domain adaptation models to demonstrate how synthetic data can be useful in real world applications.
  • Take state of the art models developed internally and from the community, use them in production to solve problems for our customers and taskers.
  • Take models currently in production, identify areas for improvement, improve them using retraining and hyperparameter searches, then deploy without regressing on core model characteristics
  • Be a representative for how to apply machine learning and related techniques throughout the engineering and product organization

What we look for:

  • At least 3 years experience in ML (ideally human-related CV: ex. face/pose recognition, knowledge of domain adaptation is a big bonus).
  • Experience with reading research papers / replicating results.
  • Experience with pytorch/tensorflow, numpy, opencv, scipy, matplotlib.

Our benefits:

  • Health insurance coverage for employees, including vision, dental, and family coverage
  • Extended vacation time
  • Parental leave
  • Competitive salary
  • Equity
  • Remote flexibility

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't perfectly align with the job description. Team members who love to learn and collaborate in an inclusive environment will flourish here. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
