Key job responsibilities
In this role, you'll have a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
• Design and Delivery: Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable tax technology solutions
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of tax reporting data for specific tax jurisdictions, addressing data quality issues, and defining functional requirements for technical development.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with tax teams to enhance efficiency and controller-ship in current processes, educating them on data acquisition for reporting, planning, and controller-ship.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering relationships with the tax, business and engineering teams across Amazon.
• Metrics Development: Support the creation of new metrics to quantify the value of various aspects of tax data.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
- 4+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- Advanced proficiency in using SQL for data analysis
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience in business or financial analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
