Senior Engineering Manager - Data & Machine Learning

As a Senior Engineering Manager - Data & Machine Learning in the Risk and Compliance Team, you’ll be leading a team of Data and Machine Learning Engineers, building and scaling complex data pipelines, that collect data into our data lake and provide data to internal services and external users.

You will be mentoring, guiding and empowering the data and machine learning engineering team, giving them the tools that they need to be successful in their roles. Alongside your responsibilities within the tribe you will drive initiatives across multiple tribes and domains ensuring that others are aligned with our strategy and that they know what is expected of them. 

You'll be great for this role if you have:

• 7+ years’ relevant experience and at least 2+ years of leading agile engineering teams.
• You have hands-on experience as Data Engineer and/or Machine Learning Engineer although you won't spend much time hands-on in this role.
• You have gathered meaningful working experience in risk, fraud &/or compliance. 
• You’re confident acting as the single point-of-contact for ‘owned’ areas - working with cross-functional partners across the company to achieve all aspects of the project management cycle.
• You have a proven track record of managing complex initiatives and serve your team as coach to achieve outstanding results.
