Our leadership team includes alumni from Shutterstock, Bain, Google, IBM and Compass.

Vendelux is seeking an experienced, insightful and hands-on Data Operations Manager with a strong background in driving operational rigor and excellence in managing external and internal data sources and workflows. You will be a key member of the Data & AI team working to build and scale operational excellence in support of our data acquisition strategy, leading and auditing our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data ingestion processes.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient acquisition of data.

  • Audit, design and implement processes that improve the efficiency and productivity of our data acquisition operations.

  • Ensure our data acquisition strategy evolves with growth and product offering and processes and systems scale to meet business needs.

  • Maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability through extensive data, KPI, process analysis and cross functional collaboration.

  • Help establish key performance indicators for data operations and regular reporting on performance metrics.

  • Implement monitoring systems to proactively identify and address data quality issues.

  • Identify and capitalize on improvements to data accuracy, coverage, and performance through internal technical processes and third-party relationships.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.

  • Partner with data and engineering teams to develop workflow support tools and ensure appropriate data capture.

  • Ensure continued performance of third party vendors and manage budget.

  • Develop new forecast methods to improve the predictability of our business.

  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.

  • Lead other data operations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5+ years of work experience in Operations or technical program management.

  • Experience in B2B SaaS preferred and/or strong background optimizing operational workflows involving data or content.

  • Experience in auditing and optimizing data ingestion processes.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex programs of data driven transformation with demonstrable impact in data operations and data quality management.

  • Advanced understanding of Jira or other project management systems and can refine and enhance ways of working.

  • Proficiency in SQL or utilizing BI solutions.

  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security principles.

  • Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies in the data management space such as ETL, data warehousing.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving, leveraging data to articulate problems, develop recommendations, and measure performance.

  • Adaptable and agile, with the ability to navigate fast-paced and evolving product goals.

  • Thrive in unstructured environments, and have a knack for bringing order to chaos.
