Curology is a technology company building the future of skincare through personalized prescription treatment. To make this possible, we're building tech to power an entire in-house medical ecosystem, covering everything from medical care to provider licensing and pharmacy fulfillment operations.

Duties

  • Responsible to drive product impact by proposing and conducting quantitative and statistical research into key user behaviors and business trends. Define and monitor key metrics; investigate changes in metrics and propose next steps; and contribute to the team and company data culture through accessible data table design and maintenance. Create compelling statistical narratives on behalf of the brand and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure analysis is shared and data is translated into actionable insights. Conduct comprehensive development of tools used in data research and analysis. Leverage analytical expertise and problem structuring skills to translate data into business information. Work directly with the finance, operations, medical, and product teams to improve operational excellence, develop insights that influence strategy, and make recommendations that help move the company’s bottom line. Instrumental in influencing business decision-making and strategy through the use of Design of Experiments (DOE), reporting, and data visualization tools and techniques.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in statistics, analytics, or related field. 3 years of experience in job offered or data science. Any amount of experience in the additional requirements section below will be acceptable unless specific amount is noted. Additional requirements: Prior academic background or work experience to include: 1) Experience with Design of Experiments, research methodologies, quantitative statistics research, regression analysis, decision trees, or clustering. 2) Experience with statistical modeling and analysis and statistical tools, including SPSS, SAS, R, or other statistical software package.  3) Experience with data mining, visualization tools and techniques, including SQL, Looker, Alteryx, or Tableau. 4) Experience partnering with key stakeholders to own the end-to-end process of gathering requirements and using data to generate recommendations and solutions.
