The role:

 

At Aisera, we’re building a world-class AI and ML Engineering Team, where each individual loves to move fast, be challenged, and is obsessed with making our customers wildly successful. You will be expected to be resourceful, a selfless leader, and regularly go above and beyond your “day job”. The upside is that this is a highly visible role with unbound growth opportunities.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead a group of talented data scientists and ML engineers to deliver machine-learning and AI solutions to production.
  • Hire and directly lead a diverse team of world class engineers while being responsible for driving all aspects of implementation, quality assurance, continuous integration and deployment, and application monitoring
  • Create and instill a team culture that focuses on engineering excellence, encourages deep engagement with our customers and out of the box thinking
  • Mentor technical leaders and high bars for excellence in architecture and code design
  • Perform hands-on data analysis, build machine-learning models, run regular A/B tests, and communicate the impact to senior management.
  • Participate in the design and review of features, technology choices, architecture, designs, time and budget estimates, and test strategies
  • Handle project scope and risks with data, analytics and creative problem solving
  • Develop and evolve engineering processes and collaboration models to optimize team efficiency and collaboration


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years managing engineers
  • 2+ years of the machine learning or related experience
