Are you up for the challenge? If so, here is a flavour of what awaits you as DevOps Engineering Lead  / Data and ML Platform :

• Work alongside a talented team to help build the Platform with a product mindset.
• Define and own the DevOps and Infrastructure roadmap for the platform
• Set-up best practice for the team raising the bar for existing CI/CD
• Act as Subject Matter Expert, providing thought leadership on all things DevOps
• Collaborate with SumUp Core Platform teams to seek synergy and align with strategic directions
• Help define, implement and track SLOs and SLAs for the platform
• Ensure availability of Production and Development systems.
• Research, analyse and implement new technology solutions for infrastructure
• Closely work with the development team to improve roll out and deployment of new product features and installations to facilitate our rapid and constant growth

• Requirements: 

• Experience in setting up and running production systems on AWS
• Experience with container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes)
• Configuration management experience (Terraform)
• Very good knowledge of Continuous Integration, Delivery, Deployment practices
• Experience in organizing build/deploy pipelines (GitHub actions, ArgoCD)
• Very good experience in AWS networking setups
• Experience of setting up and tuning big-data processing solutions on AWS (EMR, Glue)
• Experience with setting-up and configuring scalable databases on AWS (Keyspaces, DynamoDB)
• Experience of setting up, scaling and maintenance of distributed streaming platforms (Kafka, AWS MSK)
• Experience of setting up an observability stack (Prometheus, AlertManager, Grafana, NewRelic)
• Knowledge of security best practices in AWS (data at rest and transit, networking, PCI)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to impart your knowledge to others

It's a plus if you have experience with:
