Product Owner Data Capture/Computer Vision SDK

As a Product Owner for our Data Capture SDK Product (working closely with a senior Product Manager), you will be responsible for product managing parts of our computer vision stack. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver performance and usability improvements and introduce new features that benefit the millions of workers and consumers that use our product every day. 

Working at the intersection of technology and business, you’ll work with enterprise customers to identify their needs and challenges and work closely with our engineering team to guide development from conception to launch. As a product owner, you’ll oversee sprint cycles and be accessible to engineers to answer questions and provide guidance. To make sure that new features and performance improvements have the desired impact for the users, you will coordinate benchmarking and user testing. You will also contribute to the Product Vision and Roadmap by engaging in research and feedback sessions with engineers and relevant business stakeholders.

You will need to have a technical background, experience with software/mobile development, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will show a strong customer focus and have some experience as a product owner. Previous experience with mobile technologies or solutions would be preferred but experience in a technology driven business will also be considered.

 What You Will Do

• Act as product owner for parts of our computer vision stack (esp. Barcode Scanner and Augmented Reality features)
• Work with users to identify their challenges and coordinate the resolutions with our engineering team
• Own the backlog and prioritize building what matters most.
• Define the requirements for each feature and the desired user experience.
• Work closely with the engineering team to drive product development.
• Verify that the implementation meets user needs.

Who You Are

• Degree in Engineering or a Related Field 
• Solid understanding of software development, ideally mobile development
• Experience with computer vision is ideal
• A solid mix of technical, UX skills and customer/user focus
• 2-3+ years of experience as a product owner or software developer  
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
• Open minded, sociable, and driven personality.
• Solid English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Eligible to work in Switzerland.
