About the Role

We are looking for driven individual to work in a data-driven business management team, helping impact the user experience on our product. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive our user/partner behavior and steer the business vision. You will study user behavior in depth to validate critical features and user experiences. The role is inherently cross-functional: You will work closely with a high-energy team consisting of software engineering, data analytics, user experience, marketing, customer service, and executive team members. This role is a good fit for someone who is creative yet highly data-driven and who has strong customer focus and ‘business sense’, combined with an established track record in data analytics and data science.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Analyze multiple data sources to gain a better understanding of our user behavior, including impacts of current marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with product managers, marketers and engineers to help understand the impact of marketing spend and the related return it can drive, and provide measurable insights
  • Work closely with the paid and CRM marketing teams and be responsible for campaign pre and post analysis, cohorting, experiment design, segmentation, KPI measurement and more.
  • Use sophisticated modeling techniques such as causal inference to undercover insights related to user behavior.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional project planning/prioritization meetings, business partner meetings, data prioritization meetings, etc.
  • Present findings to senior management to drive business and marketing decisions.
  • Develop dashboards that provide reliable insights and visualization.
  • Use tools such as Google Sheet, Jupyter notebooks, and many internal tools to work efficiently at scale.
  • Be a key driver of marketing strategy, by thinking beyond immediate analysis to understand long-term implications of actions.
  • Use modeling to identify key drivers for customer NPS and customer retention

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or Economics. Advanced degree in related topic is a strong plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing/ product analytics or data science, consulting or AdTech
  • Excellent programming skills in SQL and Python. R is a plus.
  • Advanced experimentation experience including multivariate and causal analysis
  • Speed, resourcefulness and a go-getter attitude
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from other fields
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
