Data Analyst, Data Intelligence

As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Data Intelligence team who focuses on steering SumUps overarching business strategy. This is a chance to work with senior management throughout the business to create impact globally and enable SumUppers to be even more data-informed!

You’ll have high visibility across all levels of the business, improving standardisation of reporting strategy and data visualisation.

What you’ll do;

• Deliver accurate and reliable data reporting and analysis to steer overall business performance
• Enhance SumUp's global business reports (e.g. improving and optimising dashboard usability and visualization)
• Regularly assess and monitor data quality of global business KPIs
• Work with data engineering team to resolve data & reporting issues
• Enhance SumUp's standard business reports, including dashboard design and development, improving usability and visualization, optimizing configuration, and ongoing maintenance

You’ll be great for this role if you have;

• 3+ years in an analytical role (ideally a data or BI Analyst focused role)
• Advanced SQL skills, have used SQL on a regular basis and is able to deliver insights & analysis from complex data sources
• Extensive experience working with Tableau (dashboard design and development). Other data visualization experience (e.g. Looker, Google DataStudio) is a strong plus.
• Demonstrable experience in translating data analysis into insights & recommendations for business partners.
• Strong communication skills. Comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels and enjoy stakeholder enablement.
• Familiarity with data governance and GDPR.
