Visa’s North America Product Innovation team drives growth and evolution of customer-centered, market-leading products and services, from the ground up. Bringing together product managers, category experts, design practitioners, strategists, and technologists, we tackle key portfolio challenges to unlock new growth opportunities and create purposeful new payment and commerce experiences to power global commerce ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand product requirements to better evaluate and track product performance. Drive the data and analytics strategic vision across organization for funnel optimization and help to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Execute, measure, and prioritize A/B or multivariate tests using analytics to understand and measure customer journeys.
  • Bring clarity to product KPI’s, performance drivers, and competitive trends.
  • Use data to analyze and evaluate, transform data and insights into business recommendations, communicate learnings and recommendations to various audiences of all levels with storytelling presentations.
  • Ability to work with Product and engineering teams to define tracking requirements.
  • Be a central analytics leader across cross-functional teams, driving analytics thought leadership and supporting build- out of performance reporting dashboards that scales with the global business.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience leading data projects and managing a team.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.
  • Proficient in data management practices and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 1-2 years’ experience leading teams of data analysts or data scientists with a strong ability to coach and develop others.
  • Expert in Data analysis and Data visualization tools, such as MS Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • 7+ years of experience driving analytical solutions and roadmaps for SaaS products.
  • Proven ability to organize and lead cross-functional analytical projects end-to-end.
  • Strong data storytelling skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Strong technical and quantitative background with outstanding problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to synthesize situations for corresponding solutions, options and action plans to impact efficiency, and improvements to the business.
  • Prior hands-on experience in advanced statistical analysis and controlled experimentation
  • Strong practical ability to read and write SQL required, experience with data and analytics solutions on cloud platforms including AWS and big data technologies preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or business/economics or equivalent work experience, advanced degree preferred.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 157,700.00 to 228,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
