With an open-plan space, ideal for collaborative working, an outdoor terrace for a team lunch, or a dedicated studio for a yoga class.THE ROLEThe Finance Reporting Solutions team, as part of the Financial Planning, Reporting and Data Insights team, provides data & financial reporting solutions to suit the requirements of the wider Finance Department. To achieve this, we are building a full stack of capabilities, from managing our own infrastructure, creating data pipelines, to rolling out custom data products, all with the goal of providing consistent and accurate financial metrics and insights. You will work with other teams in the Finance department and the wider data community at Farfetch to deliver scalable solutions. This is the ultimate role for an analyst who enjoys manipulating vast amounts of interconnected data and loves the challenge of creating automated solutions for data collection, validation and analysis in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Your opportunities to develop range from working directly with data engineers to grow technically and working with marketing and finance to grow commercially.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• You will ensure a high level of data integrity for core data sources and ensure the accuracy and consistency of all delivered metrics, including the Farfetch KPIs produced for quarterly reporting to investors and the NYSE through data collection, analysis, reconciliation, and report delivery
• You will support our Senior BI Finance Specialists in their projects and programmes to improve existing data sources, processes and reporting, while managing your routine deliverables
• You will help design and deliver excellent data solutions and processes that allow advanced analysis and reporting for the Finance community
• Help help develop a scalable approach to data for the Finance team; Champion initiatives around governance, automation, data optimisation, self-service solutions and aligning with the wider business to build a single source of the truth
• You will work with Data Community, Operations and Finance Tech teams to orchestrate the flow of compliant data and be held accountable for its conversion into reported figures

WHO YOU ARE

• Clear and structured code using SQL (MS SQL or BigQuery SQL preferred)
• Experience working with large data sets using workflow management platforms (Airflow, AWS, etc.), and processing and transformation using command line tools such as DBT is desirable
• Experience with developing reporting solutions using BI and data visualisation tools such as Looker (preferred), Tableau, Qlikview, Business Objects, PowerBI, Excel (can perform complex functions) etc.
