Software/Data Engineer (Intern)

Entourage is an integrated venture studio that builds and funds the next generation of B2B SaaS companies. We combine a Venture Studio (Entourage Studio) with a Venture Capital fund (Entourage Capital).

Entourage Studio targets to build multiple high growth B2B SaaS companies from scratch over the next couple of years. In the earliest stage of company building, we support founders with their ideas, we prototype our own, test in the market and combine opportunity with the right talent. In later stages we fund and support companies until they become independent. 

We are looking for a Software/Data Engineer Intern that applies technology in a smart way to innovate our venture building and sourcing methodology. The role is multi-faceted, you will be able to apply your skills and desired learnings to our in-house setup and inside our portfolio companies. Both software and data focused engineers may apply, with a preference for being able to execute across the web and data stack.

‍As Software/Data Engineer Intern, your main responsibilities include:

• Automation Development: Design and implement automation solutions to optimize internal processes, from administrative tasks such as venture sourcing, to complex data crunching for portfolio or opportunity companies.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Apply your expertise in data science to analyse datasets, generating actionable insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Entourage team and Entourage Studio portfolio companies. You have the opportunity to proactively identify projects you can work on.

Requirements

• You are passionate about technology, innovation, and the dynamic landscape of the B2B SaaS market.
• You possess a bachelor degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent through experience or skill.

• You demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to process and interpret large datasets, turning data into strategic insights.
• You exhibit strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• You are adaptable and thrive in fast-paced environments, showing a constant drive to learn and apply new technologies in innovative ways.
