We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator tools with the best team in the creator economy, and are looking for a Machine Learning Program Manager, Trust and Safety to support our mission.

This role is based in New York, San Francisco, Porto with the ability to go into the office two days a week or Remote (East Coast) 

In this role you will:

  • Define and own the entire Trust & Safety Machine Learning feedback program, by defining end-to-end processes and best practices with other related teams including Engineering partners.

  • Work and collaborate with other cross functional partners across the Trust & Safety organization to align on priorities and processes that will positively impact our ability to proactively detect risk and prevent harm.

  • Work together and build relationships with the greater Trust & Safety team to be able to seamlessly integrate Ops data and decisions into the classifier creation and iteration process.

  • Build and envision a roadmap that solidifies and combines the Machine Learning creation processes to become a transparent and seamless process to help identify risk and prevent harm on our platform.

  • Collaborate and create relationships with internal stakeholders (Policy, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Data Science) to align on priorities and continue to grow the impact that Machine Learning classifiers can have on Trust & Safety needs.

  • Build a strong relationship with Engineering partners to be a voice in how these tools will work in our systems, specifically in content moderation and the greater team of Trust & Safety.

  • Deliver results that can be quantified and measured to clearly demonstrate progress in improving the safety of our platform through proactive harm mitigation.

About you:

  • Experience and passion for Trust & Safety including but not limited to: Content Moderation, proactive trend detection, machine learning classifiers, and a desire to find scalable solutions to protect online communities.

  • Experience viewing and handling anything that may fall under violative content, such as CSAM, hate speech, misinformation, and adult nudity.

  • Previous experience leveraging beginner to intermediate SQL or Python to aggregate data and communicate results to key stakeholders.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to present intricate data and processes in a way where all stakeholders and colleagues of all teams and divisions/responsibilities are able to easily interpret.

  • Capacity to thrive in an environment with ever changing priorities.

  • Proficiency with some or all of these technologies: Slack, Asana, LucidChart, Atlassian/Jira, Tableau, Mode Analytics. Alternatively, you are comfortable rapidly learning about these and other new technologies, and can train others how to use them.

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and presentation skills, with an exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize.

  • Extremely comfortable with ambiguity, and a desire to build out net-new processes.

  • Team player and a fast learner with a creative, fun attitude.
