Summary

We are looking for a Director/Lead Data Scientist in Alpha Strategies based in London to join us in building a platform to optimise every business on the planet. This is a full-time placement with significant opportunities for personal development.

Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional and ambitious person with strong management and commercial experience in systematic trading to help our team of world class engineers, data scientists and commercial executives develop our Causal AI platform. You’ll wear many hats, serving as the technical and management lead on the utilisation of our technology on development of alpha strategies for clients. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical leadership for a team of Data Scientists working on client projects with leading buy and sell side institutions

• Leading and coordinating the execution of Proof of Concept projects and Pilots

• Driving customer success outcomes (upsells, renewals etc) from a technical perspective

Working with the internal product team to develop the product roadmap and transform customer feedback into feature ideas

• Strong academic record and advanced experience of development of alpha trading strategies across different asset classes and styles

• Experience of leading or managing technically sophisticated teams

• Experience of data science tools and techniques across a range of algorithms

• An excellent written and verbal communicator with a high level of business acumen

• Highly capable, self-motivated , collaborative and personable

• High integrity and drive

• Naturally curious and effective problem solver

• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
